1. Royal Matchmaker

Objective: Help kids break the ice by finding their perfect “Royal Match” using themed word cards.

Setup: Use our ready-made Princess Word Match Cards (available in our store) featuring enchanting pairs like “Rapunzel” and “Hair,” “Elsa” and “Ice,” or “Mirror” and “Magic.” Each child receives one card as they arrive. Every card has one unique match.

How to Play: As guests arrive, hand each child a card. Their royal mission: Find the guest holding their match!

Once they pair up, they introduce themselves and answer one fun princess question, like:

  • What would your princess name be?

  • If you had a castle, what would you name it?

  • What magical gift would you love to have?

It’s a charming and easy way to get kids chatting and giggling as they join the royal court!

Bonus Game Option: Later in the party, reuse the cards as a memory matching game. Lay them face down and let kids take turns flipping two at a time to find the royal pairs!

2. Mystic Mirror Dance

Objective: To mirror another’s dance moves.

Setup: Pick an open space and play some royal-themed music (like harp or instrumental fairy tale music – see suggestion below) to set the mood.

How to Play: Pair the children and have each pair stand facing one another. One child in each pair will be the “mirror,” mimicking the other’s dance moves as closely as possible. After a minute, switch roles. This is a great ice-breaker non-competitive game. Celebrate everyone’s effort with applause.

3. Dopey’s Royal Rescue

Objective: Try to pin Dopey back in the right spot while blindfolded—the closest player wins!

Setup: Download and print the 17″ x 11″ “Find Dopey” poster featuring Snow White with the Seven Dwarfs… except Dopey is missing! Use the matching numbered Dopey cutouts (1–15), available for purchase in our store.

Hang the poster at eye level for the age group. Cut out the Dopey pieces and write each child’s name on the back of theirs. You’ll need tape or reusable adhesive and a blindfold (a sparkly scarf or royal sash works perfectly!).

How to Play: One by one, blindfold each guest and spin them gently 2–3 times.
Hand them their Dopey cutout with tape ready. Their royal mission: place Dopey where they think he belongs—no peeking!

4. The Enchanted Garden

Objective: To collect “enchanted flowers” while avoiding the “sleeping spell.”

Setup: Scatter colorful paper flowers around the room and designate a small area as the “safe castle.” Assign one player as the “enchantress” (who will try to put others under the sleeping spell).

How to Play: The players must collect as many flowers as they can and bring them to the castle. If the enchantress tags them, they must freeze until another player “unfreezes” them by touching their shoulder.

The game ends once all flowers are collected, and whoever brings the most flowers to the castle is crowned “Garden Keeper.”

Setup: Create a cozy “Royal Creativity Corner” with a table and chairs. Provide printed princess-themed coloring pages, mazes, and word searches—all available for instant download from our store.

Add plenty of crayons, colored pencils, markers, and fun extras like glittery stickers, gemstone stamps, or tiara cutouts.

How to Play: Guests can visit the corner anytime during the party to relax, color, or solve puzzles. They can create at their own pace and take home their beautiful masterpieces as special keepsakes from their royal celebration.

7. Princess Says

Objective: Follow the princess’s orders—but only if Princess Says! Stay in the game by listening like a true royal.

Setup: Use our ready-made “Princess Says” command sheet (available in our store) with magical princess-themed actions such as:

  • “Elsa says freeze like ice.”

  • “Ariel says swim like a mermaid.”

  • “Cinderella says twirl in your gown.”

  • “Moana says paddle your canoe.”

  • “Belle says open a magic book.”

  • “Rapunzel says brush your hair.”

Gather the royal guests in an open space where they can move freely and safely.

How to Play: Choose an adult or older child to act as the leader and call out the commands.
If the command starts with “Princess Says,” everyone must do the action.
If it doesn’t start with those words, and someone still does the action—they’re out!

Examples:

  • “Princess Says curtsy like a queen!” → everyone curtsies.

  • “Spin in your dress!” → anyone who spins is out!

Keep playing until one clever royal guest remains—or start a new round for more giggles and fun!

Setup: Use our ready-made Princess Charades Cards (available in our store), filled with enchanting words like “Dance”, ‘Hair,” or “Mermaid.”
You’ll also need a timer (a phone works great!) and an open space where little royals can move freely.

How to Play: Split the guests into two teams, or take turns in a smaller group. One player draws a card and acts out the phrase in silence—no talking or sound effects allowed!

Their team has 1–2 minutes to guess the answer. If they guess correctly, they earn a magic gem (point)!

Continue taking turns until all cards are used. The team with the most gems at the end wins.

Setup: Scatter plastic jewels, coins, or beads around the party area. Provide each child with a small bag or basket.

How to Play: Set a timer for 2-3 minutes. Players run around collecting as many jewels as possible. At the end of the round, count the jewels. The player or team with the most jewels wins!

How to Play: Players complete each task in order and receive a “royal badge” at the end. This is a non-competitive game, so each child feels celebrated.

Examples of Royal Tasks:
