Secret Santa Gift Exchange

One of the timeless classics that never fails to bring smiles to my teenagers’ faces is the Secret Santa gift exchange.

It is a fun activity where participants draw names randomly and secretly gift someone in the group. Set a budget, have everyone draw a name, and keep it a secret until the gift exchange day. Participants choose thoughtful gifts based on the recipient’s interests, and during the exchange, the challenge is to guess who their Secret Santa is.

DIY Ugly Sweater Crafting

In our home, Christmas charades have become a hilarious tradition. Watching my teens act out holiday-themed clues, seeing their creativity come to life, and sharing those infectious moments of laughter with their friends make these games an absolute highlight.

Holiday Escape Room

Create a Christmas-themed escape room with puzzles and challenges related to the holiday season. Teens work together to solve the clues and “escape” within a set time.

White Elephant Gift Exchange

White elephant gift exchange is a humorous and entertaining activity where teens bring wrapped gifts, usually of low monetary value. The key is to add a touch of humor or quirkiness to the presents. Players draw numbers to determine the order of choosing gifts.

The first person selects a gift and opens it. Subsequent participants can either choose a new, wrapped gift or “steal” an already opened one from someone else. The game continues until all participants have a gift.
