2. Shield And Dog Bone Decorating

paw-patrol-party-games

Here’s a chance for the little ones to indulge in gluing and sticking all sorts of craft supplies.

What you need

How to do it

  • Cut out a shield or a dog bone for each child. You can print our patterns on thick paper.
  • Have the children sit down and give each of them plenty of craft supplies and of course, glue and stickers.
  • Instruct them that they need to decorate their shield or dog bone with the craft material they have available.

Pro Tip: Give the children enough time to finish the “project”, but don’t overdo it. There’s no need for everyone to fill one’s paper with the same amount of craft things and stickers.

You may use this activity to have your guests wind down, for example, before they start eating or cut the cake.

3. Rocky To The Rescue

paw-patrol-party-games

Rocky is the pup that reuses anything he can find to solve problems. Let your little ones copy such behavior, having fun creating parachutes out of recyclable material found at home.

What you need

  • Plastic sheets (from clean plastic bags) – 1’ x 1’ (30cm x 30cm)
  • Pieces of string cut into 8” (20cm) lengths
  • Weights (stones, metal nuts, etc.)

How do you do it

  • Prepare a square sheet of plastic and four lengths of string, for each child.
  • Let your guests know they are on a two-fold mission: to help Rocky utilize some reusable materials and to make parachutes that work.
  • Help the kids punch four holes, one in every corner of each plastic sheet.
  • Then help them tie all four strings to the four holes from one end and together from the other.
  • Finally, tie a weight where the four strings come together,
  • When the children are ready, let them try their parachutes.

4. Zuma Water Rescue Relay

paw-patrol-party-games

With kids that are not toddlers anymore, you can afford to go for games that need some more instructions. Water relay races are fun and can be done in your backyard.

What you need

  • Buckets full of water (one for each team) or a kiddie pool (just one filled with water to serve all the teams)
  • Plastic cups (with small optional holes in them)
  • Empty water bottles (one for each team)
  • Funnels (one for each team)

How to play

  • Get all your guests in teams of equal numbers.
  • Ask each team to stay in line and each member to stand some 3’ (1m) away from the next teammate.
  • The first child is to fill the first cup from the bucket and pass it on to the next player. The cup needs to be passed from one player to the next until it reaches the last one, who in turn must fill the water that remains in the cup in the empty bottle.
  • Give each team the same number of cups.
  • A funnel is placed on the empty bottle to make it easier for the players to fill the bottles.
  • The team that manages to carry the largest amount of water, wins.

5. Just Like Skye

paw-patrol-party-games

Making paper planes and trying them out is always fun. Here’s how to do it for a Paw Patrol-themed party.

What you need

How to play

  • Hang some hoops from the ceiling or trees (if you’re holding the party outside) at different heights and well spaced from each other.
  • Help the children to make a paper plane, using different colored paper for each child.
  • Here’s how to make a paper plane, just in case you forgot.
  • The children then need to “fly” their plane (just like Skye) through the hoops.
  • You can leave the children to throw the paper planes as they wish. Instead, you could instruct them to take turns to see who will be able to pass their plane through the greater number of hoops possible.
  • Assign different points to the various hoops, depending on the level of difficulty, to get the planes through.

6. Paw Patrol Pinata

What you need

  • Paw Patrol Wall Poster (you can keep it for the child’s room after the party)
  • Chase’s badges (free printouts here)
  • Sticky tack
  • Blindfold (a piece of fabric or a scarf will do)

9. Paw Patrol Scavenger Hunt

paw-patrol-party-games

This is not the usual scavenger hunt. It is also a rescue mission where the kids find particular items related to the pups. Ryder needs the kids’ help! You will discover that this is also a good way to make use of party favors before they get them home after the party.

What you need

How to play

  • Before your guests arrive, hide the party favors in a defined area where you want the kids to play this game.
  • When you are ready to start the game, tell the children that they will be helping Ryder find some gifts and put them in a carton box (included in the suggested party favors pack).
  • The suggested pack above includes one of the following items for 12 children:
    • Wristband
    • Keychain
    • Badge
    • Stamper
    • Blower whistle
  • Instruct your guests that they need to find one from each item and put it in their box.
  • If they find the same item again, they need to leave it where they found it for someone else to spot it.
  • Children will take home the box full of Paw Patrol items.

Pro Tip: Write the children’s names on their respective boxes.

Safety is of utmost importance, so make sure to define the area where the kids can find the items on the list and that they have understood all your instructions.

  • You may also want to set a time limit, especially if you do not want the game to take too long.
