This animated series, so much loved by our little ones, boys and girls alike, is a fabulous thematic inspiration for birthday celebrations for preschoolers and children as old as five and six.

Here I share Paw Patrol party games we created for our own kids.

1. Trouble for Rubble

20 cotton balls, 2 small spades (or plastic spoons), toy dump truck

How to play

Invite your guests to move cotton balls with a spade using only one hand. Provide 20 cotton balls, 2 small spades (or plastic spoons), and a toy dump truck. Two players compete at a time.

On “go,” they must move cotton balls to the dump truck using the spade with one hand. The first to finish wins. Repeat until everyone has had a turn.

2. Rocky to the Rescue

How to play

Kids create parachutes using recyclable materials. Provide plastic sheets, pieces of string, and weights. Each child gets a plastic sheet and four strings.

Punch holes in each corner, tie strings to the holes and together at the other end, then attach a weight. Let the kids test their parachutes.

3. Zuma Water Rescue Relay

How to play

Water relay races in the backyard. Provide buckets of water, plastic cups, empty bottles, and funnels. Divide kids into equal teams.

Players pass a cup of water down the line, filling the bottle at the end. The team with the most water in their bottle wins.

4. Just Like Skye

How to play

Kids make and fly paper planes through hoops. Provide plastic hoops and colored paper. Hang hoops at different heights.

Help kids make planes and try to fly them through the hoops. You can assign points to different hoops based on difficulty.

5. Paw Patrol X’s and O’s

How to play

Set up the Paw Patrol Tic Tac Toe Game Set in a clear, flat area. Decide who will be X’s and who will be O’s. The first to get three discs in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins.

Simon Says is a very popular and educational game for 3, 4, 5, and even 6-year-olds. At a Paw Patrol party, it is not Simon that gives the instructions but Ryder. Find “Ryder says” commands here.

How to play

Adapt Pin The Tail On The Donkey with a Paw Patrol theme. Stick the poster to the wall, prepare our free badges, and let kids take turns sticking the badge on Chase while blindfolded.

8. Shield and Dog Bone Decorating

How to play

Each child decorates their cutout. This activity is great for winding down before eating or cutting the cake.

9. Paw Patrol Mazes
