Chase The Fun: 12 Easy Paw Patrol Party Games

This animated series, so much loved by our little ones, boys and girls alike, is a fabulous thematic inspiration for birthday celebrations for preschoolers and children as old as five and six.

Here I share Paw Patrol party games we created for our own kids.

1. Pup Patrol Word Match

paw-patrol-party-games

Objective: Help kids break the ice by finding their perfect “Pup Match” using themed word cards.

Setup: Use our ready-made Paw Patrol Word Match Cards (available in our store) featuring matching pairs like “Chase” and “Police Car” or “Skye” and “Helicopter.” Each child gets one card; every card has a unique match.

How to Play: As guests arrive, give each child a card. Their mission: find the guest with their matching card. Once they pair up, they introduce themselves and share either:

  • Their favorite Paw Patrol character, or

  • Which Paw Patrol job they’d like to do (e.g., firefighter, pilot, etc.)

It’s a fun and easy way to get kids talking and laughing as they join the Paw Patrol crew!

Bonus: The cards can also be reused later in the party for a simple memory matching game—just lay them face down and let kids take turns flipping two at a time to find the pairs.

2. Trouble for Rubble

paw-patrol-party-games

Objective: Add excitement and giggles with a fluffy relay race that challenges balance, focus, and fun—all with just one hand!

Setup: Prepare 20 cotton balls, 2 small spades (or plastic spoons), and a toy dump truck. Create a playing area with the cotton balls on one side and the dump truck a short distance away. Make sure there’s enough space for two players to race at once.

How to Play: Two players go head-to-head at a time. Each holds a spade or spoon—but here’s the twist: they can only use one hand!

On the signal “GO!”, players must scoop and carry cotton balls one at a time from the pile to the dump truck using only their spade.

The first to move all their cotton balls into the truck wins the round! Keep playing in pairs until everyone has had a turn.

Objective: Give kids a calm, creative break with Paw Patrol-themed coloring, puzzles, and fun.

Setup: Set up a quiet table area with chairs. Provide printed Paw Patrol coloring pages, mazes, and word searches—available for purchase and instant download from our store. Add crayons, markers, pencils, and fun extras like stickers or stamps.

How to Play: Kids visit the station any time during the party to color, solve puzzles, or just relax. They can work at their own pace and take their creations home as keepsakes.

Perfect as a wind-down station or break between high-energy games!

4. Rocky to the Rescue

paw-patrol-party-games

Objective: Encourage creativity and hands-on fun by building simple parachutes using recyclable materials!

Setup: Gather plastic sheets, pieces of string, and small weights (like washers or coins). Cut strings into equal lengths, enough so each child gets four strings. Prepare a hole punch or pre-punched plastic sheets.

How to Play: Give each child one plastic sheet and four strings. Help them punch a hole in each corner of their plastic sheet.

Tie one string to each hole, then gather and tie the four strings together at the other end. Attach a weight to the tied end to complete the parachute.

Let the kids test their parachutes by dropping them and watching them float!

5. Ryder Says

paw-patrol-party-games

Objective: Follow Ryder’s commands—but only if he actually says “Ryder Says”! Stay in the game by listening closely.

Setup: Use our ready-made Ryder Says commands—available for purchase in our store—with fun themed actions like “Ryder Says wag your tail like Chase!” or “Ryder Says fly like Skye!” Gather kids in an open space where they can move freely.

How to Play: An adult or older child acts as Ryder and calls out commands from the cards. If the command starts with “Ryder Says,” kids do the action. If not, anyone who does the action is out!

For example:
“Ryder Says bark like a pup!” → everyone barks.
“Touch your ears!” → anyone who does is out.

Keep playing until one pup remains—or start a new round for more fun. It’s silly, active, and great for building focus!

6. Zuma Water Rescue Relay

paw-patrol-party-games

Objective: Team up like the Paw Patrol to fill your water bottle the fastest—but with a tricky twist!

Setup: In a backyard or open outdoor space, set up a starting bucket of water, plastic cups with one or two small holes punched in them, funnels, and an empty bottle for each team. Divide the kids into equal Paw Patrol teams.

How to Play: Each team lines up. The first pup fills a leaky cup with water, then passes it down the line as quickly as possible. The last pup pours whatever water is left into the team’s bottle using the funnel. Keep going until time’s up or the bottle is full.

The team with the most water in their bottle at the end wins! It’s a splashy, silly, and fun way to practice teamwork—Paw Patrol style!

7. Pin The Badge On Chase

paw-patrol-party-games

Objective: Try to pin Chase’s badge in the right spot while blindfolded — the closest wins!

Setup: Download and print the 17″ x 11″ Pin the Badge on Chase poster and matching numbered badges (1–20), available for purchase in our store. Hang the poster at eye level. Cut out the badges and write each child’s name on the back of the one they’ll use. You’ll also need tape or reusable adhesive and a blindfold.

How to Play: One by one, blindfold each pup and spin them gently 2–3 times. Hand them their numbered badge with tape ready. They must try to place it where they think Chase’s badge should go — no peeking!

After all turns, check whose badge is closest to the right spot. That player wins a small prize or is crowned “Top Pup of the Patrol!”

8. Rescue Flyers Just Like Skye

Objective: Fly your paper plane through the hoops to complete your “rescue mission” — earn points for each successful flight!

Setup: Hang plastic hoops at different heights and distances to represent various rescue zones. Provide colorful paper for kids to fold their own Paw Patrol planes — you can even decorate them with stickers or character drawings.

How to Play: Help each pup make a paper plane. Then, let them take turns flying their planes through the hoops. Assign points to each hoop based on how tricky it is to reach. The pup with the highest score after a few rounds becomes the Rescue Flyer Champion!

9. Paw Patrol Pup Charades

Objective: Act out Paw Patrol-themed words or actions without speaking, while the others try to guess what you’re portraying!

Setup: Use the ready-made Paw Patrol Charades Cards (available for purchase and download), filled with fun actions, characters, and scenes from the show. You’ll also need a timer (a phone works well) and open space for kids to move around.

How to Play: Split kids into two teams, or take turns in a smaller group. One player picks a card and silently acts out the word or phrase—no speaking or sound effects allowed!

Their team has 1–2 minutes to guess correctly. If they do, they earn a point. Take turns until all cards are used. The team with the most points wins the Pup Cup!

Objective: Be the first to get three discs in a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—to win the game.

Setup: Place the Paw Patrol Tic Tac Toe Game Set on a flat surface. Decide which player will be X’s and which will be O’s.

How to Play: Players take turns placing their discs on the board. The first player to align three of their discs in a row wins. If all spaces are filled without a winner, the game ends in a draw and can be played again.

Setup: Provide shield or dog bone cutouts (included in our printable pack), along with craft supplies like crayons, markers, glue, glitter, and Paw Patrol stickers. Set up a table where kids can sit and decorate comfortably.

How to Play: Each child chooses a cutout and decorates it however they like using the provided materials. This makes a great wind-down activity before food or cake time, and the decorated pieces can be taken home as keepsakes.

How to Play: Give each child a scavenger hunt page and something to mark off the items (like a crayon or sticker). Kids search the area to find each hidden object pictured on their card. Once they’ve found everything, they can return to a grown-up for a small prize or sticker badge.

This activity keeps kids moving, exploring, and fully immersed in the Paw Patrol theme!
